FAQs PPQ long barrel pistol
What ammunition will this gun shoot?
A) Most semi-auto 22. LR’s are ammunition fickle. The PPQ is not. It will shoot the majority of standard subsonic/hyper 22 LR ammo waxed or un-waxed. Please look on YouTube at the videos available showing the multiple ammos used on this gun.
Can I completely dismantle the gun?
A) The gun can be dismantled as per a standard PPQ MQ .22 LR and comes with a manual to show you how to do it or look on YouTube as there are many helpful examples.
Does the ported barrel and suppressor require me to get a variant for a suppressor on my firearms certificate?
A) The general opinion is because the barrel is ported which is an integral part of the weapon it does not require a separate variation for a suppressor. Please always check with your licensing department.
Does the ported barrel reduce the noise?
A) Yes it does and that’s why we do it.
I have seen information that ported barrels have a tendency for the holes to block up?
A) This does not generally occur but if found to happen the holes can be cleared using interdental brushes.
Do I need to heavily lubricate the pistol for it to work?
A) No. we advise placing a small amount of oil on slide rails but also keeping a light wipe of oil over all metal parts to prevent any rusting.
Can I modify the overall length of the weapon?
A) NO! It is a criminal offence under the firearms act to shorten either the barrel or the overall length of this platform as this would convert the firearm into a prohibited weapon under category section 5.
Can I fit any red dot sight?
A) Sadly not. We have machined and prepared the slide to specifically work with our preferred provider to ensure reliability. Any aftermarket retro fitting of other sites may affect the function and reliability of the weapon will void your warranty.
What is the warranty on the gun?
A) The gun comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Does this come with a changeable back-strap?
A) Sadly not.
If I wanted the finish modified to a different colour?
A) Yes we can, please email your requirements and we will assist you.
Can I see a gun?
A) Please email us with your full address and postcode and we will refer you to your nearest RFD.
Can I buy directly from you and have it mailed to me?
A) You may buy directly from us but the firearm will be required to be placed your certificate in sight the usual method of this is for us to ship the firearm to your nearest and preferred RFD and he will handle placing it on your certificate.
How do I get a variation for a long barrel pistol?
A) Apply to your firearms licensing department providing good reason such as membership of a target pistol club.
Can I possess more than one long barrel pistol?
A) Yes, however you will need to satisfy your licensing department that you have the good reason. Typically this would be to cover different weapon disciplines such as open sight and red dot sight. In all cases check with your licensing department and club.
When auctioning the slide to put a round in the chamber, the round snags and does not enter the chamber?
A) Check the thread adapter securing the end of the barrel/sleeve is torqued on tightly.
Sometimes the slide locks back when there are still rounds in the magazine?
A) Check the position of your thumbs to ensure they are not applying pressure on the slide release lever. This is apparent due to the ambidextrous design of the slide release.

Do your modifications prevent the usage of other Ruger 10/22 accessories?
A) Any accessory that will work with a Magpul takedown stock will work with our platform (obviously not a suppressor as it’s built in)
Can I remove your suppressor and fit another?
A) our suppressor is an integral part of the weapon and only removable for maintenance purposes
This is a takedown rifle, is the Magpul stock a takedown stock?
A) Yes it is
Will the gun fit in any other stock?
A) If the stock is configured to be a takedown stock for a 1” bull-barrelled rifle then potentially it may be possible though there may need to be minor modification depending on the manufacturers profiling.

A) The shotgun functions with most manufacturers of 2.5inch and 3inch shotgun cartridges.
Is the gun completely strippable?
A) Yes.
Will the gun accept other aftermarket larger capacity magazines?
A) Yes it will as long as it is compatible with a Vepr platform.
Can I adapt the stock to a side folding stock?
A) Although there are options of aftermarket products in the market place, the affixing of a stock of this nature would take the overalls weapons length to less than 30inches. TBC.

FAQs Section 2 Kral (Vepr Style) shotgun
What ammunition will this gun shoot?
A) The shotgun functions with most manufacturers of 2.5inch shotgun cartridge. We do not advice the use of 3inch cartridges due to the issues with loading and feeding such a long cartridge.
Is the gun completely strippable?
A) The gun is completely strippable as per it section 1 counterpart bar the fact the magazine is permanently affixed to the chassis of the weapon system and cannot be removed. Any attempt to remove the magazine will take the shotgun from a section 2 to a section 1 and therein you may commit a criminal offence. For cleaning and maintenance purposes, the base plate of the magazine can be removed but not the spring and the top follower which are permanently affixed into the magazine.
Will the magazine take more than 2 rounds?
A) No, and if you try to modify it, you are committing an offence under the firearms act.
Can I adapt the stock to a side folding stock?
